How We Respond To Your Calls For Help

 TOLL FREEE 1-800-525-7383

We are dispatched by radio from the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department when
residents who have emergencies call 911. We respond either to our stations for emergency
vehicles and equipment or directly to the emergency scene, depending on what the
situation calls for.  Our personnel are strategically located across Fire Protection
District 11 so that we can provide the shortest possible response time to your emergency
needs.

Listen To Us On Your Scanner

We like you to know what we’re doing!  We welcome you to monitor our radio
transmissions on scanner frequency 156.225 MHz.  On the air Carriere Volunteer
Fire Department uses the “1100” series numbers, for example 1100, 1101, 1102, etc.
This is how you can identify us.  Remember, if you don’t hear “11” and a number, then
it’s not us.  This is also an excellent way for you to keep up with what’s going on during
hurricanes and other emergencies if you can power your scanner.
